I don't do this very often, but I don't find a brand that I like as well as Matilda Jane very often either! I am hosting a Matilda Jane Party online for the first time, and I'm very excited about it! I love the brand's colors and patterns that are always on trend and mix and match for lots of wear. They also have lots of details like fancy trims and buttons that make them stand out from the rest.
Another great feature is the quality. When you feel these clothes - how soft and thick they are - you will fall in love, too. You can wash and wash and they still look fabulous!
Are you sold yet? Haha! If so, just visit www.matildajaneclothing.com to look and shop. Once you've made your list, simply email my favorite trunk keeper, Julie LaForte, at email@example.com. She'll take it from there!
The party only lasts for a few days so order soon! Thanks so much and happy shopping!

Isn't this just the prettiest? I love a beach wedding! My sweet, sweet friends, Tristan and Justin Adcock, just got married last weekend. I am so happy for them and their new life together!
Tristan's beautiful daughter, Demi, carried this sign down the aisle. It was requested to be done in the wedding colors of aqua and salmon. I did the handle in one piece of ribbon rather that tying a bow so she could carry it easier. I think it turned out really pretty and wedding perfect!
This canvas was ordered for them as one of their shower gifts. Tristan tells me that she already has it hanging in their house! Yay!

It's my favorite day on Kelly's Korner! We all get to show what we make and sell! Not only do I get to show my artwork, I get to browse your links and go see lots of other wonderful products.
Well, I make and sell custom painted artwork. I love to paint and have always painted. I am thrilled that I have found a way to do what I love for a living. It is always a pleasure to work with new and repeat customers and come up with the perfect design for them.
Here's how it works...you just check out the size and price guide in the sidebar, choose your colors and design by browsing the blog or using your decor as inspiration, and then email me with your details and any questions (firstname.lastname@example.org). I'll get back to you with any questions of my own and maybe a few suggestions. After we've got that all settled, I'll send you a paypal invoice that includes shipping and get you on my to do list. Easy as that!
How long you stay on my list depends on several things...I am a teacher and mom of two, there may be several orders ahead of you, you may have a complicated design that takes more time, etc. If you need it by a specific date, you need to let me know that when ordering.
I didn't add any pictures to today's post basically because the blog is covered with them! There is a handy little search bow in the very top left hand corner where you can type in a keyword if you know what kind of thing you are looking for. There's also a history by month of past posts in the sidebar.
I'd love to hear from you all...let me know what you think! Thanks for visiting today!

One of my very best customers, Rachel Harvey, ordered these two super sweet verses for her boys' rooms. They are a beautiful navy blue with white and khaki writing.
She wanted them matching and one for each room. I did one horizontally and one vertically just to make them a tad different. This is such a wonderful thought...I love it!
Thank you, Rachel!

Nothing says summer in the south like mason jars and lightning bugs! This sweet 8x10 is just perfect for the front - or back - door to usher in this new season. I came up with this new design for the occasion and it will be available at Sweet Ila Mae's Barn Sale.
I didn't think a ribbon was just right for this design. I decided to use a more rustic wire hanger and added a little yellow mesh ribbon just for a bit of sparkle!
I also did a larger 16x20 version. It also has the wire hanger and yellow mesh ribbon. This larger size is sooo pretty on the front door or in the sunroom.
Bring on some summer!

I've been working on some fabulous new items for an upcoming craft show. I am super excited to be a vendor at Sweet Ila Mae's Barn Sale in Quebeck, TN. It's the weekend of June 8 and I hope you all will make plans to come see us!
I've done a few signs on something other than canvas. These three are on wood. It's nice to get a different shape that a square or rectangle!
I've also been experimenting with different types of accents like pearls, flowers, burlap, buttons, and paper. I'm so in love with all of these vintage looks!
I'm still doing tons of original painting, too! Here's a new sunflower design that's perfect for summer.
Here's the link to Sweet Ila Mae's facebook page if you'd like more information. Make plans to come and get your vintage on!

This online order came in for this beautiful quote to match a black, white, and baby pink nursery. The back and white was used in toile and polka dots white the pink was an accent color. I didn't get to see the whole room - only a blanket - but I can picture it as beautiful!
The plan was to also use it at the baby shower, but I did not get it ready in time. Please let me stress how important it is that you let me know up front if you need something by a certain date. While I do love to paint, it is not my whole life. This is a very busy time of the year for us teachers! I am also a wife and mother of two. Plus, there may be several orders ahead of yours. I want to be sure that I can give each piece of artwork the time and thought that it needs. Thanks!

This quote in chocolate brown over a lavender patterned background custom design to match a baby girl's nursery.
A version of this quote on red in white block letters with some distressing for a big boy's bathroom.
This quote on a khaki and cream patterned background in chocolate brown for the living room.
This quote again in a rich purple on white with a lavender patterned background and topped with purple ribbon for a baby nursery with lavender walls.
This is one of my most popular designs - it never seems to get old. It's just a beautiful thought.

These little sets of 5x5's are one design that I just keep coming back to! I've done them in so many color combinations that I've lost count! And the great thing is that they all look soooo cute! This was an etsy order that shipped out a while back. I love all the bright colors in the dots and the ribbons.
This set was a local order for Jennifer. She send me a picture of an adorable shower curtain that had cartoon cows on it. The main colors were black and white (of course!) with some red, light blue, and gold. I know this set is going to be perfect for that bathroom!
This more neutral set was also an etsy order. It features a pale olive green, aqua, orange, and gold with accents of brown. Love it!

Here I am at six-years-old and being crowned as a beauty queen. I held three titles in my younger days.
And here I am now - some thirty two years later - and not so much of a beauty queen anymore. And you know what? I'm okay with that.
I know that I'm not perfect. I know that I have areas that need some serious improvement. However, I am comfortable in my own skin. I do try to do the best I can with what I have.
So, yes, today I am turning thirty eight and I plan to celebrate! I feel more beautiful than ever. Crown or no crown, wrinkles and all!
