I am sooooo in love with this canvas!  The whole vintage romantic look is completely my style.  I've always loved antique things.  This 16x20 piece is custom designed to match some really pretty bedding.  The link to which I cannot find anywhere!

There's a pale pink circle in the center with small white dots for the frame.  The "Tiffany" blue background has large white polka dots.  The entire background has been distressed.

The name is in the center in a fuchsia.  The two large roses are in shades of pink with green leaves and stems.  This one was very time consuming and those roses were quite a challenge.  However, I am so proud of this accomplishment!

I've been blogging a lot less this summer.  I'm just enjoying my home and family and not spending so much time on the computer.  I'm still here!  Be sure to check back on July 1st and order your pineapple!

The Pineapple Special

Everyone needs a pineapple this summer!  Even though this design is perfect for summer, it really looks great all year round.  This one shipped out a while back and has a teal blue trim with brown accents.

This one also shipped out a while ago but it has an olive green trim with the brown accents.

I painted this one for the Barn Sale.  It is all brown and was snapped up quick!

My favorite is the all black.  I don't really know why but I've always loved the khaki and black color combination.  As you can see, there's lots of options and they all look great!

So, here's the special...
  • Order an 11x14 pineapple canvas during the month of July for just $20.00.  Order as many as you want at that price!  It's a $10.00 savings for you!
  • Background must be khaki with the cream dots.
  • Basic design with the border, pineapple on the right side, and horizontal placement stays the same.
  • You can choose your colors and wording.
  • Shipping is $5.00 for the first canvas, $1.00 for each additional canvas.  Local delivery is free.
I'm looking forward to taking your orders!!!

One Busy Summer...

Today is Carter's 13th birthday!  I can't believe I have a teenager!!!  I was going through the photos and found these two of him and his dad.  Mike looks pretty much the same, but look how much Carter has grown!

He's been playing on three baseball teams and practicing basketball this summer.  Lauren also plays ball.  I feel like I need to just stencil "Team Bus" on the side of my van!  Needless to say, most of my time is spent at the ballpark or getting ready for the ballpark.  I'm not complaining.  I love it and know that this time in my life is just a short phase.

When I'm not playing ball, I have been getting some painting and home projects done.  I just finished this old school desk for Lauren.  I was all beat up and painting some funky pastel colors.  I sanded it down and used a spray paint for metal in the turquoise.  After it was good and dry, I taped it down and used chocolate brown spray paint on the wooden parts.  Finally, I hand stamped the fleur-de-lis in bronze.  I love how it turned out!!

I hope you all are enjoying your summer, too!

Before You Were Born...

I think I just might paint this quote more than any other.  It's a good one!  It's so sweet and perfect for a new baby or as a baby gift.  I didn't think to get a picture of this one until after it was wrapped for shipping.  This is the original design of dots and strips in the colors of pink, green, and brown.  Of course, it can be done 100 different ways!

For this one, it was requested to keep the pink stripes, but to do the lettering and trim in black and gray.  The big difference here is that the dots were replaced with teal birds.  It was all topped off with a pretty teal ribbon.

The lettering here stayed brown and still has the matching brown ribbon.  The dots were left off and the trim is tan instead of green.  Nice and simple but so pretty!

Dots For The Bathroom

I am loving this color combination not just for a bathroom but for all of summer!  The lime, royal, and pale aqua just compliment each other perfectly.  I usually paint the word "flush" on the fourth canvas, but it was requested to have the letter "D" instead.  So cute!

This is a smaller set of canvases.  These are 5x5's while the top ones are 10x10's.  This neutral set in brown, burnt orange, aqua, golden yellow, and lime look great with just about any bathroom decor.  I love the big brown bows!

It's almost time for Sweet Ila Mae's!  I hope all of you are making plans to come see me and all of the fabulous vendors.  I'm sooooo excited!!!!
