Show Us Your Life - What Is Your Typical Day Like?
This Friday's Show Us Your Life Series through Kelly's Korner is focusing on a typical day in your life. Whew! Are you sure you want to know? I do...I think it is very interesteing to see what other people do all day. I gain new appreciation for others as well as picking up some time saving tips for myself. I am looking forward to reading...but when do I find the time!
6:15 - Up and at it...slowly! I am not a morning person and this is my least favorite part of the day. Shower and get ready. I have a routine and if it gets messed up, I am not right all day. Fix Lauren's hair and make sure Carter is hygenic.
7:12 - Yes, I have it down to the minute. Leave for work with Carter. Lauren rides with Mike.
7:30 - 3:00 - Teach!
3:00 - 4:00 - I have to pick Lauren up at pre-school by four, so this is errands hour. I try to get as much done as I can because you all know how much longer it takes with two kids! If the weather is nice, I take my walking clothes in and get a quick mile in.
4:00 - Lauren!
4:00 - 5:00 - Maybe another errand, after school snacks, and homework.
5:00-6:00 - Clean, start laundry, cook dinner.
6:00 - Dinner - eat and clean up.
7:00 - Bath time, during the baths I usually get lunchboxes ready and clothes laid out for the next day.
8:00 the kids are in bed to read, lights out at 8:30.
8:00 - 10:00 - I try to have everything done so I can use this two hours to paint. If not, I get so behind! Sometimes I do just paint for an hour and then spend an hour with my husband or do a walking DVD to relieve stress and just feel better.
10:00 - I have a strict bedtime. This girl needs her eight hours!
