Birthday Plans

Lauren's fifth birthday is coming up soon and I've started making plans. Instead of a party this year, she wants to go to the American Girl Place in Atlanta. She has a Bitty Baby, but we've told her she has to be five to get a "big girl doll".

I ordered her a birthday shirt from the etsy shop "made for you tees". It is the cutest birthday shirt ever. Period. The end. The best part is that you get to design your shirt...hair color, skin color, eyes, everything. Too cute! Plus, the people are super nice!

We've decided that this little trip to Atlanta will be a girl's weekend. I've got the American Girl package at the Marriott booked. You even get this doll bed! I've also got lunch reservations and the American Girl Cafe. I know a lot of you have been and taken your little sweeties. Do you have anymore good tips for a first timer? I really want this to be a special birthday!

That package is great. They are so nice to you at the hotel. We got there first thing on Saturday morning and got to look without it being too crowded. By the time our 11:30 reservation for lunch was over you couldn't stir 'em with a stick. lol It is the cutest place ever.

Sounds so much fun! We're waiting till Ella is a little older to take her and Bree together for a girls trip...but I can't hardly wait. I had a Samantha doll when I was little. You'll have to give us tips. :)

Hope Lauren has a blast.
