Beach Retreat
Priscilla Wanamaker wanted a family canvas for her beach retreat in Florida. This is the first one I've done in different colors from the usual black and khaki. You know me, I am always excited to try something new! I have to admit that I was a little intimidated because I have always thought of Priscilla as a lady of impeccable taste. She always looks so beautiful and put together!
This one has a Tuscany red background with the family name in hunter green. It is also outlined in black "squiggly" lines. The beach retreat lettering is in khaki. This one had a lot of steps and several coats of paint, but it was worth it. I used a coordinating striped ribbon and sheer hunter green ribbon.

I am so glad to see "WANAMAKER" all the way across, now I know how mine will look! I can't wait, but I will--no hurry:)
And I think "the retreat" would be the perfect place to go for the weekend---with no hubbies or kiddo's----don't you???? just kidding!
