My Old Man!

Today is Mike's 40th birthday. That's right...the big 4-0! As many of you know, we celebrated early with a sports themed surprise party. It was such a special night for our whole family. Thank you so much to all of you who took the time out of your busy lives to spend a little of it with us. We really appreciate all of you who we know and love. We have a very rich life together, but you guys are all the sprinkles on our donut. Our friends and family make it even better somehow.
A blog is an online scrapbook and is just about the only scrapbooking I actually get done! I decided to share a few pictures of Mike, old and new, in honor of his special day. I am so thankful that he is a part of my life. No, he is not perfect, but he is perfect for me. You know! You heard the list!

Ok, I have a story...and I'm not sure if Mike remembers or not, but here goes...When I was around 8 or so,and I think Mike was around 16??? my sisters and I attended church with my grandmother, we went on a church youth trip to Junalisca (not sure on the spelling or even where in the heck that is??) but anyway, I fell going up a slide playground thing in a park and tore off a wart on my knee (I know, sounds really gross!) but blood was EVERYWHERE, I thought I was going to die! Mike carried me all the way back to where my grandmother was so that she could take care of me. And I still remember that to this day! I thought he saved my life! It's funny the little things you remember, but he was so caring and concerned :)
Tell him thank you, just in case I didn't say it then! lol!
