Just A Few More Teacher Canvases...

This is it!  The last batch of teacher canvases.  I've been truly blessed with so may back to school orders.  Thank you all!  Here's Ms. Lee's classic apple design.  I love scuffing up the black paint to it looks like a chalkboard.

Ms. Del Toro chose a fancy font - called "Majestic" - with lime and aqua dots.  She also got some rhinestones added in the aqua dots.  Gotta love that bling!

Mrs. Johnson requested the bee canvas.  I've done this design several times and also have a variation with a lady bug.  It's always a favorite!

Seriously, how cute is that bee?

Dots, Chevron, and Flowers...Oh, My!

If you can can't decide or if you just love everything, then this design is for you!  It's got it all!  I think this would be really cute on the front door or in a wreath at home, too.

It's got dots around the outside, chevron on the inside, flowers in the corner, a fancy frame, and a new font.  That sounds like too much but when you see it all together, it's adorable!

These little flower embellishments in the corner are so sweet!

These two teachers happened to order theirs in the same color scheme.  This design can be done in any color!  Please keep in mind that the exact flowers pictured may not be available.  I will use the closest materials possible.

And Now For Some Chevron...

I know I've been wearing out the posts on teacher canvases!  It's just that time of the year.  I do have some cute fall stuff on tap for you soon!   This 4x12 canvas is in the school colors of maroon and gray.  I love this size for the classroom!

Mrs. Moreland wanted this pretty chevron design in gray, pink, and aqua.  It features a fancy frame and her name in cursive.  Very girly!

I love that the blue chevron has been glittered.  It just adds a little something extra!

Well, I'm completely exhausted after my first few days back at school.  It's so hard getting back on schedule!

Polka Dot Queens

Who doesn't love a good polka dot?  I've done a lot...A LOT...of teacher canvases in the past few weeks and polka dots just never seem to go out of style.   Here's Mrs. Kristen who wanted tropical dots with black accents.  I love the gray dots that I snuck in there!

Mrs. Lee asked for red polka dots.  I love this classic design.

Mrs. Andrea is also getting tropical dots in lots of different sizes with brightly colored ribbon on top.  This one has also been glittered for a little extra sparkle!

Finally, Mrs. Sherman asked for primary dots on this cute little 5x5 canvas.  I love this one with the "dottie" font!

Sparkling New!!

There's a brand spanking new teacher at my school this year!  Mrs. Monica Limbaugh is joining the staff at Centertown.  She's getting this very sparkly 11x14 for her classroom door.  How exciting!

The red dots have been coated in red glitter and a red rhinestone has been added to some of them.  I wish the camera picked up on the sparkle a little bit better!

It been topped off with some pretty black glittery tulle instead of the regular satin ribbon.  I love this one!

Did y'all notice the fun new font, too!  this might be my new favorite!

Sewanee Angel

Anne Myers teaches Spanish at Sewanee.  She wanted a cute little canvas for her classroom door.  She requested purple and white chevron for the school colors and an angel for the school mascot.   Gotta love her school spirit!

I don't think I've ever done an angel before and there are so many ways you could go with that.  She sent me a link to some of the school products that have "their" angel on them.  I put my own touch on that basic design.

I decided to use gray as the accent color.  I usually use back but the purple was already so dark.  I also used a new font!  It's a cursive with a lot of brushwork.  It looks kind of messy and easy to do, but actually the look is hard to achieve.  I love how it turned out!

All Boy

Deer's "all boy"!

This design and colors were specifically chosen to match the bedding for a crib.  It's a patchwork quilt with pieces of material in the hoof print, deer heads, and this neat lined pattern.  It's all in greens and browns and!

Here's the monogram and a close up of the background and deer head.  This is going to be perfect in little Brady's nursery.

In other baby boy news, I got to babysit my nephew for a couple of hours yesterday.  He's the sweetest little thing ever!  Here he is all snuggled in on the couch for a morning nap.  Notice the cat is close enough to keep an eye on him but far enough away that he could never touch her!

Golden Eagle

Let me start with a close up of this eagle!  Mrs. Pugh sent the school mascot to me to use on her canvas.  It wasn't really my style so I was a little intimidated.  I practiced a few times before putting it on the canvas.  I'm so proud of myself!

Here's the whole canvas.  It turned out great!!  Not only did she get her school colors, but also her school mascot.

On a completely unrelated note, I've been cleaning out the garage, attic, kitchen cabinets, and all of those other places things get stuck.  I'm trying to get it all done before we go back to school!  I found all of the sweet little shoes that were Carter's.  It's hard to believe he was ever this small!  I'm passing them down to my new nephew.  They were just so sweet that I had to share!
