Carter and Lauren

I don't post about my children very often because, well, they don't want me to!  They're both at the age where they don't want everybody seeing everything about them.  I do take pictures on their first day of school, vacations, sporting event, etc.  I don't take as many as I should.  I just get caught up in the moment and forget to grab the camera!
This is what they look like most of the time...laughing or being silly.  The rest of the time they are fussing or picking at each other.  Typical!

Lauren recently finished another season of dance and performed in the annual recital.  She dances so gracefully and did really well.  She's not a bit nervous to hop up on that stage.  I admire her so much for that.  She got a part in the local production of "Annie"!  I cannot wait to see it!  In addition to play rehearsals, her summer has been busy with 4-H, church camp, pageants, and a lot of time at the pool!

Carter made the freshman baseball and basketball teams.  His summer will be spent either on the court or on the field!  He is squeezing in a week at church camp.  He gets a two week break so that's when we'll take our family vacation.  He'll be turning fifteen this summer!  I guess that means we'll be teaching him how to drive.

I may not get to share them as much as I'd like to, but I am one proud mom.  They are growing up so fast, and I'm doing my best to enjoy every minute!

USS Brown

Ms. Brown is planning a nautical themed classroom for next year!  I love it because I do a theme for my room every year, too.  It gives me a color palette and some direction for my room decor.  If not, I go kind of crazy!

Her classroom has two doors, so naturally she needed two canvases!  Ms. Brown definitely had a vision for her canvases.  She requested the light blue background, rope border, and ship's wheel.  I was worried about all of the elements layered on top of each other, but it turned out great!

Mrs. Michelle

I just can't tell you all how much I love this canvas!  The gray chevron and the yellow dots are soooo cute together.  Everything spaced out perfectly and the whole thing came together nicely.  I love it when that happens!

The border is a slightly darker shade of gray and then the lettering is in black.  I really like the whimsical font choice!  The black lettering is kept from being so harsh by using lots of highlighting.  The whole thing is all topped off with gray ribbon.

This is going to look great in the classroom.  The large 12x24 size will really pop!  Thank you, Mrs. Michelle!

Pineapple Time!

The pineapple canvases are popular all year round, but especially in the summer!  It's okay...I love them, too!

This beautiful 11x14 with the green trim, brown lettering, and cream ribbon is ready for immediate delivery.  A family name can be added under the "Welcome" at no extra charge.  The cost is $30.00 if you are local.  Add $5.00 if you need it shipped.

The one with the brown ribbon was an etsy order and had already shipped out.  Remember that I also take custom orders if you'd like a different color combination!

Happy Campers!

Suzy and Ed...love this custom camper order from etsy.  This is going to be too cute on their camper this summer!  This is a 10x10 and is a great size for those smaller doors.

I've got this 12x12 camper canvas finished and ready to go.  It's done in red and blue for a little bit of a patriotic feel.  Names can be added at no extra charge!

All of my camper canvases get an extra coat of clear poly to make them even more durable and perfect for covered outdoor use.  This 12x12 is $25.00 for those of you who are local.  If you're not, add $5.00 for shipping.
